Designed to last
One billion umbrellas are binned every year. Not because it rains too much - because most just aren't built to survive it. We thought that was daft, so we made ones that are: built from materials that actually hold up, designed with a bit more thought, and ready to outlast whatever the British weather throws at them. Here's how.

1. 10-RIB FIBREGLASS FRAME
10 reinforced ribs, built to flex and adapt instead of snap. When the wind's doing its worst, the frame bends with it rather than breaking under it.

2. VENTED CANOPY
A double-layered canopy that allows wind to pass through, not underneath - helping to keep your umbrella the right way up in moderate winds.

3. WATERPROOF MATERIAL
Fully waterproof, PFC-free quick-dry canopy material, paired with a lined drawstring sleeve that holds onto excess water until you're home and dry.

4. AUTOMATIC OPEN & COLLAPSE
One button, one press, done. Open it, close it - no wrestling, even with your hands full of shopping, coffee, or a toddler.

5. BOUNCE MECHANISM
Most umbrellas lock rigid at the top, but ours don't. Our bounce mechanism lets the canopy move a little, spreading wind pressure instead of fighting it.

6. UPF 50+ SUN PROTECTION
Sun protection woven straight into the canopy, because a good umbrella shouldn't clock off when the rain does. Rain or shine, you're covered.
